Meet sweet Lavender. She is a precious 17 year old girl who loves arts and crafts, music, being outside and dancing. She is kind and has a witty sense of humor. She loves animals, especially horses. She utilizes a tablet and an eye gaze device to communicate. She is working hard to increase her skills in communication using her AAC devices.  She needs a family that will be a strong advocate for her  healthcare needs. She will need help with daily living skills as well. 
She would love a home that is laid back, can keep her active in her community, and be a strong advocate for her needs. She would be happy in a home with or without other children. She loves animals, so a home with animals would be wonderful for Lavender. The preferred location of the home would be close to healthcare and community and therapeutic supports.
